eBaum's World still Dependent on Old Crew

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share some failure on the part of eBaum's World. The rumor is they have 4 people doing ALL of the work for the site (developing, content, moderating, etc.). I thinks its fair to say they are having a tough time adjusting to life without the Rochester crew.

Over the past week they have taken multiple media directly from eBaum TV!!!! Now of course we aren't going to have a hissy fit over this as we know most content gets spread from site to site. But then yesterday they had their most blatant rip off yet!!

We posted "News Anchor's Groundhog Impression", which no other major viral site has, at 11am EST, they proceeded to feature this content around midnight EST last night. I think this shows how dependent the 'team' for eBaum's World is on the crew they fired last week.

Oh and one more bit of fail on their part, did you see the ebaum.tv FTW prank someone pulled on them?! Check it out..

  1. I noticed they were featuring the same videos as ebaum.tv a couple of days ago. Whoever "realebaum" is, he types like a 12 year old girl text messages, and he appears to completely lack any sense of originality or taste in what's funny/interesting. The eventual fail of the site is all but inevitable.

    We're not sure who the realebaum user is, but given the potential candidates we're aware of over there, it's quite possible that it's a 50 year old marketing idiot thinking he's "getting an in" with the users.

  5. Eh. They're learn. They just need time. And as far as anyone cares, it wasn't ebaum that was submitting the media, it was and always has been, the users. And last time I checked, searching for 'funny videos' on Google doesn't show up as "ebaum.tv", so I think they're do pretty well for a long time to come, regardless of what they do from this point on. In addition to that, of course I hope as we all do that they will treat their jobs seriously and put some effort into managing the website- although we all know that's going to be hard to do, because of shitbags like the ones here who don't understand anything about corporate ownership and financial responsibilities.
